The Downtown Issaquah Association will decorate downtown with lights in celebration of the holidays and is looking for donations to its holiday lighting fund.

As a contributor, you will be able to deduct 75 percent of your donation from your state B&O tax, according to a news release from the association. Other tax benefits may apply.

For a $1,000 donation, get a $750 Washington state B&O tax credit in 2014; for a $500 donation, get a $375 Washington state B&O tax credit in 2014; and for a $100 donation, get a $75 Washington state B&O tax credit in 2014.

Donate by Nov. 15 so the association can purchase enough lights. Payment will need to be made by Dec. 31 to take a 2014 deduction.
