Issaquah Mayor Ava Frisinger and Safeway executives will cut the ribbon. The store will open to the public shortly after the ceremony.

Complimentary reusable bags will be given to the first 1,000 customers that visit the store.

The store, which also includes a gas station, is at 1451 Highlands Drive.

Will we keep 2 Safeway’s in Issaquah? Or will the one in the lowlands be closed?

Got something to say?
