City flags lowered in memory of former House Speaker Foley

NEW — 9:13 a.m. Oct. 31, 2013

The City of Issaquah will lower its flags in memory of former U.S. House Speaker Tom Foley, who passed away Oct. 18 from complications related to a stroke.

Flags will be lowered to half-staff Nov. 1, and will remain at half-staff until the close of business that day or the morning of Nov. 4.

Other government entities, citizens and businesses are encouraged to join this recognition.
