Rope Drill 01

Picture 1 of 12

Eastside Fire & Rescue firefighters honed their high angle rope rescue skills Oct. 29, on the 97-foot tall Sammamish Plateau Water and Sewer District water tower located on 228th Avenue Southeast in Sammamish. The drill was held to keep skills fresh for preplanning, setting up rigging systems, communications, safety and incident management practices. In this photo, firefighter Scott DePuy ascends the water tower while firefighter Terry Cushman watches at the top. By Jon Bromberg
