Gilman Village will celebrate its 40th anniversary in style.

The city landmark is hosting the Gilman Village Wine Walk from 6-9 p.m. Participants can taste  products from small local wineries while visiting shops and restaurants in the village. Tickets are $30.

“People love wine tasting, and we’ve had a fantastic response to the event so far,” said Galia Gutierrez, events coordinator of the Downtown Issaquah Association. “Gilman Village is the perfect place to host a holiday event and it’s just a nice place to spend a couple of hours.”

Adding to the atmosphere, the Travis Hartnett Trio will perform a live jazz show.

Proceeds will benefit the Downtown Issaquah Association, which helps preserve the history and culture of the city.
