The Kiwanis Club of Issaquah is again spearheading its annual Coat and Shoe Drive on behalf of the Issaquah Food & Clothing Bank to benefit families in the community.

Those wanting to donate still have a week to do so.

Last year, Kiwanis Club collected more than 400 new or clean gently used coats and 300 pairs of shoes, and looks forward to exceeding those numbers this year.

Additional items such as hats, gloves and scarves are also welcome.

Through Nov. 30, there are collection boxes in Issaquah at Banic Chiropractic, Bank of America on Front Street, City Hall, Gas Lamp Bar and Grill, KeyBank, Hawkins Orthodontics, Sammamish Club-Arena Sports, Starbucks (by Safeway), Tutta Bella and US Bank. Columbia Athletic at Pine Lake in Sammamish is also hosting a collection box.
