Issaquah’s Team AMEX is set to fight Dec. 7
November 26, 2013
Issaquah mixed martial arts fighters Dex Montenegro and Amy Cadwell will be on the card at CageSport MMA’s show Dec. 7 at the Emerald Queen Casino.
The duo will each be fighting, but the happily engaged couple will also be rooting for each other.
Tickets for CageSport XXVIII can be purchased at the Emerald Queen Casino box office or through Ticketmaster. Prices start at $35.
Montenegro, a Hawaiian native, will look to build upon his 2-1 record when he steps into the cage against Spokane’s Soloman Jones (1-1).
Montenegro was scheduled to fight on the last CageSport card in October, alongside his fiancé, but his opponent was a no-show. It was in Montenegro’s last fight in April where, after his victory, he proposed in-ring to his girlfriend Cadwell. After saying yes, the two became Team AMEX.
Cadwell (1-0) is coming off her second professional win at CageSport XXVII, over Hadley Griffith (1-1). Her next test will be against California’s Maria Andaverde (1-2), in the night’s only women’s fight.
Doors for Halquist Productions’ CageSport XXVIII will open at 6 p.m. The entire fight card is online at http://on.fb.me/1aJEaWA.
