The Issaquah Valley Trolley will operate this weekend, Dec. 7 and 8, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day. Riders board at the Train Depot, 150 First Ave. N.E. The fare is by donation.

The route covers a half-mile of track from the depot to the East Fork of Issaquah Creek and back. Riders will have the opportunity to enjoy the sounds and feel of car No. 519 in action and be able to imagine what it was like to arrive in Issaquah via rail a century ago.

Riders will receive tickets good for the ride, plus admission to the Depot Museum and the Gilman Town Hall Museum. There is no expiration date; ticket holders may visit the museums at their convenience.

Car No. 519 was built in 1925. It was rebuilt and refitted to run on standard gauge track in 2012.
