Former Issaquah star earns collegiate honor

Former Issaquah High School running back Grant Gellatly earned first team All-Ivy honors in his senior year at Cornell.

Gellatly, who switched to wide receiver in college, set Cornell single season receiving records with 91 catches for 1,224 yards and also hauled in eight touchdowns.

He led the league and ranked second nationally in receiving yards per game (122.4) and receptions per game (9.1).

He had a school-record 10 career 100-yard receiving games and two 200-yard games in his career and was a Capital One Academic All-District first-team selection.
