Looking for a gift for that person who has everything? How about something that commemorates the state — a state parks calendar or a Discover Pass.

The Washington State Parks 2014 wall calendar features brilliant color photos that represent some of the park system’s premier and unique features, as well as beautiful photos of wildlife that can be seen in state parks.

For the first time this year, the calendar is presented in partnership with the Washington State Parks Foundation, a nonprofit organization that works to support and promote the state park system. Photos selected for the calendar were featured on the foundation’s online park photo contest.

The calendar is 14-by-9.875 inches. It opens to a vertical format measuring 14-by-19.75. The calendar is $18.50, plus tax, and is available online. Orders need to be made by Dec. 18, for delivery by Christmas.

For those who want to do more than look at pictures of the great outdoors, the Discover Pass will get them there.

When you purchase the Discover Pass as a gift, you get to choose the start date, so your gift recipient can take advantage of an entire year of outdoor adventure. The Discover Pass provides access to millions of acres of recreation sites, including parks, trailheads, water access points, and wildlife watching and heritage sites.

A $30 pass buys a year of outdoor fun for all ages, and a single pass can be shared between two vehicles. Learn more or purchase a pass here, or call 866-320-9933 toll free.
