Scinite is a hard rock band started in 2011 by three Skyline High School students — Austin Lowrance, Chris Hart and Andrew Pedroni — who performed as a three-member band until March 2012.
Their major musical influences include AC/DC , Guns and Roses, Led Zeppelin, The White Stripes and Aerosmith.
The band has played in many venues in Seattle and on the Eastside, including Ground Zero, the Sammamish EX3 Teen Center, El Corazon, the Old Redmond Firehouse, Rendezvous, the Black Dog Cafe and the annual Teenfest event at Sammamish City Hall.
Collectively, their overall favorite venue that they have ever played was Duvall’s Teen SummerStage this past year. The band’s current lineup consists of Lowrance on lead guitar, Nicki Michaels on lead vocals, Hart on guitar and Santiago Erazo on drums. The group writes all of its own music, with Hart and Lowrance heading most of their creative endeavors.
Their album “West Coast Strut” is currently available at their shows. Check out their Facebook page for upcoming shows and other news such as album and single-release dates.
