Gary Graham, a man of God, passed away in his sleep on Dec. 17, 2013, from a sudden cardiac arrest.
He will be forever remembered for his warm smile, hearty chuckle and loving spirit.
He was born in North Bend, Ore., in 1940 and raised in Aberdeen. After attending Grays Harbor Community College, Gary earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Washington, and went on to complete his master’s degree in civil engineering.
As an engineer for CH2M Hill, he designed sewage treatment systems from 1964 to 2000, when he retired. During much of his career, he spent summers troll fishing off the Washington and Oregon coasts.
His wife, Judith, who he married on Aug. 29, 1964, went home to the Lord prior to his death and now they are reunited in God’s glory.
He is survived by his children Janet Graham (Mark McGrath), Karen Dennis (Brad) and Lauri Stoll (Will); precious grandchildren Stephen, Johnny, Matthew and Emily, who called him Boppa; by his brother Denny; and sister Trudy. He had many brothers and sisters in Christ.
A memorial service will be held Jan. 19 at 2 p.m. at Christ the King Lutheran Church, Bellevue.
