Dane Sisko (left) and Jack Green, both 13, with Boy Scout Troop 571 from Mary, Queen of Peace Catholic Church, hold the rope along Northeast Falls Drive in the Issaquah Highlands, pulling three recycled Christmas trees Jan. 4 a few blocks to their loading area. Teams of Scouts and their Scoutmaster dads from throughout the Issaquah Highlands and Sammamish have collected hundreds of trees and donations left at curbside by residents as their primary annual fundraiser for 29 years.
