Issaquah Mayor Fred Butler and Queen Issaquah Audrey Slade of the Chamber of Commerce, read the proclamation Jan. 31 on the city hall steps declaring Feb. 2, the day of Super Bowl XLVIII between the Seattle Seahawks and the Denver Broncos, to be known as 12saquah (pronounced ‘twelve-sa-quah’) to honor the football team and the ‘12th Man’ by which fans are called.
