Issaquah is one of the state’s safest cities, coming in at No. 24 on a list of Washington’s top 50, according to the website SafeWise.

The site, dedicated to providing honest reviews of safety and security products, combined independent research with the 2012 FBI Crime Report to come up with the list.

Issaquah was lauded for its diligent neighborhood block watch and emergency preparedness programs.

“Issaquah is so safe that the chance of becoming a victim is only one in 1,741, which is pretty good odds in a town of over 31,000 people,” the site noted.

But as I found, Issaquah is on of the cities where you can be taken to court and put through the ringer very easily. Even though I was never convicted of anything, the prosecuter, one Lynn Moberly is difficult to deal with. If you ever meet her you will know what I mean. Thankfully, I am through the drama and got the hell out of the state. Issaquah welcomes people from India, China, Korea and the middle east. It is no place for a native born American.
