Local businesses participate in Northwest Flower & Garden Show

Several Issaquah and Sammamish-area businesses are participating in the 26th Northwest Flower & Garden Show Feb. 5-9 at the Washington State Convention Center.
“Art in Bloom” is the show’s theme for 2014, with the region’s top garden designers and landscape firms embracing a festive tribute to art in more than 20 colorful and dramatic display gardens.
Countryside Floral and Garden, from Issaquah, and Fleur de V, from Sammamish, have entered in to the floral competition.
Area businesses showcasing their products and services in the marketplace are:
- Anne Anderson Designs (Issaquah)
- In Style Scarves (Sammamish)
- M Rose Vintage Goods (Issaquah)
- Springfree Trampoline (Issaquah)
- The Epoch Times (Sammamish)
In addition, show sponsor Marenakos Rock Center, of Issaquah, literally provided the foundations for the show gardens and other attractions. In the past 25 years, Marenakos has moved more than 30 million pounds of rock in and out of the show.
Show dates and hours are from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Feb. 5-8 and from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Feb. 9.
Regularly priced adult admission tickets are $22; and $5 for youths, ages 13-17. Children 12 and under are free.
