Two Issaquah High School students will star in Youth Theatre Northwest’s production of “Spring Awakening.”

Senior Kylie Fletcher is set to play Wendla, while sophomore Emma Bensten plays Frau Gabor.

Tackling issues of sexuality, suicide, abortion and homosexuality, “Spring Awakening” aims to be a powerful and riveting ride through the trials and tribulations of teen life.

The Mercer Island-based theater will offer performances at its facility, 8805 S.E. 40th St., through March 30. Buy tickets and view show times at www.youththeatre.org.
