Washington State University announces fall graduates

Congratulations are in order for Washington State University’s recent graduates from the 2013 fall semester.

Local students make deans’ lists

  • California Lutheran University recognized Annika Dybevik and Kai Jandoc, of Issaquah, on their fall dean’s list. Dybevik is majoring in theater arts while Jandoc is studying communication.
  • Mariah McHolland, of Renton, has been named to the dean’s list at Pacific University for fall 2013.
  • The School of Visual Arts in New York named Desiree Kong, of Issaquah, and Sara Duvall, of Renton, to the dean’s list for fall 2013.
  • Mitchell T. Hughey, Alexander T. Nelson and Kendal K. Seeman made the St. Martin’s University dean’s list for fall 2013.
  • Issaquah residents Amin Addetia, Thomas Rheaume and Nina Zook were named to the dean’s list of Emory College, Atlanta, Ga., for the 2013 fall semester.

 

Local singing group heads to Los Angeles

Aryn Chatterton, of Issaquah High School, will travel to Los Angeles to compete in the Varsity Vocals International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella semifinals as part of the group Boots ‘n’ Cats, on April 5.

Chatterton, a junior at Central Washington University, formed the group with six of her classmates. Learn more at on.fb.me/1laNEkY.
