Marijuana discussions will continue during the Issaquah City Council’s April 14 work session.

The public meeting, beginning at 6:30 p.m. at 135 E, Sunset Way, will cover ongoing deliberations about city regulations for any recreational marijuana business to take place within Issaquah.

There is currently a moratorium on recreational marijuana business practices in order for the council to have more time to consider the best way to move ahead with the new industry. The moratorium is set to expire in July.

Council members and city officials have repeatedly asked for public input to ensure the community plays a role in the city’s next steps for recreational marijuana businesses.
