Issaquah tops state lacrosse poll

The Issaquah boys lacrosse team sits ahead of the pack in the state’s first rankings of the 2014 season provided by ScoreCzar.

Issaquah comes in at No. 1 in boys Division I, while the Issaquah girls varsity team is ranked third.

The statewide weekly electronic ranking for prep lacrosse is based on a team’s Overall Power Rating or “OPR,” an objective calculation of a team’s offensive output, defense and ongoing strength of schedule.

In Washington state, the Camas-based ScoreCzar ranking service provides regular electronic rankings for high school football, boys and girls basketball, baseball and lacrosse along with rankings for a variety of professional, collegiate and prep sports nationwide. Learn more at
