The city wants nominations for outstanding citizens for the 2014 Issaquah Hall of Fame.

Each spring, the mayor and the City Council president choose a person to honor for making a lasting contribution to the community. The selection process will evaluate nominees’ provision of inspiration, service, leadership, civic-mindedness, activity drawing positive attention, fundraising efforts and length of service.

The award will be presented during the May 22 35th annual Community Awards sponsored by the Issaquah Chamber of Commerce.

Send the nominee’s name and a brief summary of his or her contributions to the community to or to the Office of the Mayor, P.O. Box 1307, Issaquah, WA 98027-1307. The nominations must be received by 5 p.m. May 9.
