Master gardeners help you discover your green thumb at free May 10 class

Get the most out of your garden with helpful tips on growing vegetables and edible plants from master gardeners.

The city is hosting the free class at the Issaquah community garden from 10-11:30 a.m. May 10 at the Confluence Area Parks picnic shelter, 655 Rainier Blvd. N.

You’ll learn how to prepare and plan your garden to successfully raise vegetables and edible plants.

Master gardeners will provide research-based information for sustainable gardening and environmental friendly practices.

You’ll learn how to get started, plant and seed basics, problem solving and garden maintenance, how to maximize your harvest and much more.
