Boys soccer players from Issaquah, Liberty and Skyline high schools were named to The Seattle Times’ All-Area team.

Liberty’s Colton Ronk, Skyline’s Jason Twaddle and Issaquah’s Saif Kerawala were all honored.

Ronk, a senior, recorded nine goals and seven assists for Liberty, and was a key reason the Patriots won the KingCo 3A/2A regular-season title for the second straight year. He’ll play at Highline Community College next year.

Twaddle, a senior, produced 10 goals and three assists for the KingCo 4A regular-season champion Spartans. Opponents fear defending Twaddle, who has accumulated 33 goals and 10 assists in his four-year career at Skyline.

Kerawala, one of just two juniors on the list, was one big reason for the team’s 10 shutouts. He has made a verbal commitment to the University of Washington.

First-year Issaquah coach Kyle Tatro was named the All-Area coach for guiding the Eagles into uncharted territory by reaching the KingCo 4A championship match for the first time in school history.
