The local 2014 American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life was held for 20 hours, from noon May 31 to 8 a.m. June 1 at Issaquah High School, where participants celebrated their fundraising efforts with music, games, walking laps, food and a massive overnight campout. The 96 teams and 834 participants raised $216,215.57 for this year’s theme to ‘Finish the Fight.’ Eddie Smintina, a Skyline High School junior, runs in a pink T-shirt past several pink tents set up for sleeping overnight May 31 on the Issaquah High School football field.
