School harassment

Police received a complaint May 16 in the 500 block of Northwest Holly Street about a very vocal male coming into the school administration building twice during the week and venting at the front desk receptionist.


Park and ride

Police found two people having sex May 16 at the Issaquah Highlands Park & Ride in the 1700 block of Highlands Drive Northeast. They were told to leave and they did.

Exercise equipment

A woman called police May 17 because she found a set of brass knuckles in the gym of an apartment complex in the 18300 block of Southeast Newport Way. Police took possession of the item, which will be used as a training tool for educational purposes.


Vehicle break-in

Clothing and headphones, worth an estimated $220, was stolen from a 2012 Subaru Impreza in the 2000 block of Newport Way Northwest on May 20.

A man called police May 21 about the Issaquah Valley Middle School’s electric message board in the 500 block of Northwest Holly Street. The sign was in Spanish and he said he did not appreciate it because it is America and the sign should be in English.


Stolen Jeep

A 2004 black Jeep Cherokee, worth an estimated $8,000, was stolen May 22 from the 500 block of Newport Way Northwest.


Mailbox bandit

A man in the 4100 block of Peregrine Point Way Southeast reported his mailbox, and other mailboxes in the cluster in his neighborhood, were pried open recently. He walked past them at 7:30 a.m. May 22 and they were fine, and then at 11:30 a.m., two had been forcefully opened.
