Friends of the Issaquah Salmon Hatchery is gearing up for its busy fall tour season and needs many volunteers, including tour guides, helpers in the gift shop or around the hatchery.

Volunteers will receive training, a mentor and a lot of opportunities and support to ease them into their roles.

Volunteers are needed on weekends and weekdays. There is always something to do that fits most schedules.

Aug. 23 is Volunteer Saturday, an all-day event designed to help prepare everyone for them to volunteer at the hatchery. Volunteer by completing the form.

You’ll soon hear from the volunteer coordinator and be on your way to rewarding and fun times helping others appreciate our Issaquah Creek salmon.
