Eastside Baby Corner is holding an emergency drive today and tomorrow to collect diapers to send to Western Washington communities impacted by the still-burning fires.

Those interested in helping are asked to bring, very specifically, pull-ups in sizes 2T to 4T and baby wipes to the EBC Hub, 1510 N.W. Maple St., in Issaquah, through 3 p.m. today, and between 9 and 10 a.m. tomorrow.

EBC received a call from a relief organizer in Wenatchee asking for assistance with diapers, wipes and pull-ups. EBC had sufficient diapers in stock and was able to commit 10,000 to the relief effort.

However, EBC does not have enough pull-ups or wipes to contribute, and is asking supporters and the local community to help.

Because the situation is emerging, relief organizers need the diapers quickly. They will be at EBC tomorrow at 10 a.m. to collect the diapers — leaving EBC only one day to collect the additional supplies.

Learn more, or make a financial contribution for EBC to use to purchase pull-ups, by calling 865-0234, ext. 701.
