Providence Health & Services’ Senior and Community Services hosts a trio of O’ Christmas Tree events benefiting its seniors and hospice patients, including those served at Providence Marianwood in Issaquah. The events are:

Sammamish Presbyterian Church is sponsoring the 40 Degrees Project. Anyone can purchase a Homeless Compassion Kit filled with hygiene items for $10. Youth

Senior Center

Center hours are from 8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Activities are open to people 55 and older. The center is at 75 N.E. Creek Way. Call 392-2381.

A book/article discussion group meets from 10:30-11:30 a.m. the second and fourth Wednesday. 

A conditioning and stretching class is from 9:30-10:15 a.m. Tuesdays. Fee is $16.

Line dancing classes are from 10-11 a.m. Thursdays. Fee is $5.

A drawing and painting class is from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. Tuesdays. The fee for this eight-week course is $120.

Stay Active & Independent for Life classes are from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Wednesdays and Fridays through Nov. 12. The fee is $35.

Appointments can be made for foot care clinics every Thursday. A new, lower fee is only $25 per person. Payment will now be made at the front desk. Remember to bring a small towel with you.

Line dancing lessons are from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Thursdays. Cost is $5 per session or $18 per month.

A writers’ call is from 10:30-11:30 a.m. the first and third Wednesday. 

Instructor Norma Foss leads a computer lab to answer basic questions about the computer 1-2 p.m. Tuesdays.
