Cougar Mountain Dog Hike, easy.
Dogs welcome. Bring leash, water, scoop supplies. Three to five miles, 400- to 800-foot elevation gain. Not difficult for occasional hikers. Call Jean Lanz at 206-322-0990.
July 28, Saturday 9:30 a.m.
Tiger Mountain Geocaching, moderate. Search for geocaches on Tiger Mountain while hiking. Suitable for children 10 and older with appropriate hiking shoes and clothing suitable for weather. A parent is required for children younger than 18. Bring GPS, if available, and small trinkets to exchange with cached items. Five-hour hike, 5 to 8 miles, 1,200- to 2,400-foot elevation gain. Sweets for the senses
The 24th annual Chocolate, Wine & All That Jazz is from 5:30-8:30 p.m. July 26 at Boehms Candies, 255 N.E.
