International Smile Power is partnering with Tent City 4 residents for their dental needs from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. March 13. Three additional volunteer dentists and three hygienists are needed to work four hours in an Issaquah dental office. Issaquah History Museums: Docents greet the public at the restored Train Depot and/or at the old Town Hall and adjacent jail, or help with mailings and scanning of photos. St. Andrew’s Housing Group: This local, nonprofit organization that offers affordable housing to low-income families on King County’s Eastside needs volunteers for its Homework Club, for first through seventh grade, Thursdays through June 17. Call 391-2300, ext. 22, or e-mail ericas@sahg.org.
Providence Marianwood: A volunteer is needed to take photos at parties and events. Contact Steve Gallion at 391-2895. Also, volunteers are needed to assist residents in groups, such as crafts, gardening, cooking, exercise, pampered hands, religious services and as nurturing one-on-one visitors. King County Library System Traveling Library Center: Share your love of reading with someone who cannot use the library. Volunteers must be at least 18 years old, have reliable transportation to deliver materials and can select, deliver and return library materials to one shut-in patron at least once a month, for one year. Eastside Baby Corner: Help fill orders each week, including car seats, diapers, books, formula, baby food and clothing, serving victims of domestic violence and homeless families, health care providers, immigrant assistance groups, faith-based organizations, food banks, school districts, low-income and transitional housing agencies, and community centers. Many other volunteer tasks are available; bi-lingual language skills are a plus for many of them. Volunteer interviewers needed

Career Center specialists at Issaquah High School are looking for community members to help interview seniors to fulfill a graduation requirement before they’re given their diplomas.
The interviews are 10 minutes long and will be held at the Issaquah School District’s administration building, 565 N.W. Holly St. Students will discuss their post high school plans, the work they’ve completed to get to graduation and what they hope to do in the next five to 10 years.
Interviewers will fill out short feedback forms for each interview.
Interviewers will have a short training session prior to interviewing students, given by the school’s career specialists.
Panelists are needed from 7:15-10 a.m. Dec. 2, 9 and 16. Parents of graduating students should refrain from volunteering, as the activity should mimic real interview experiences where students don’t know their interviewers.
