Lisa Van Cise and Joel Mathieson, both of Shoreline, recently announced their engagement to be married in May in Seattle.

The bride-to-be, the daughter of Shari and Rick Van Cise, of Issaquah, is a 2000 graduate of Skyline High School. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in communications in 2004 from Washington State University. She is the weather anchor at King 5 TV.

The future groom, the son of Anne Devine, of Niantic, Conn., is a 1998 graduate of East Lyme High School. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in graphic communications in 2006 from Rhode Island College. He is a broadcast engineer at Fisher Communications.

Candee Jo Cox and Nicholas Colt McCormack, both of Ellensburg, recently announced their engagement to be married July 7, 2012, at the Ellensburg Rodeo Grounds, in Ellensburg.

The bride-to-be, the daughter of Darlene and Tim Cox, of Ellensburg, is 2004 graduate of Ellensburg High School. Candee Cox is a 2008 graduate of Central Washington University and Texas State University. She is a horse trainer and paralegal at the Law Office of Theresa Petrey.

The future groom, the son of Ellie and Mike McCormack, of Issaquah, is a 2004 graduate of Issaquah High School. He attended Yakima Valley Community College. He is a professional bull rider in the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association and ranch foreman at Badger Pocket Bison.

Carrie is an inside sales and marketing associate at Balance Financial.

The future groom, the son of Bob and Janice Bowen, of Issaquah, is a 2005 graduate of Skyline High School. In 2009, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in mass communications, with a minor in leadership studies, from Whitworth University. He is a school specialist at Public Consulting Group.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Bill and Teri Carter. She was raised in Ferndale and is a 2005 graduate of Ferndale High School. Lauren went on to honor college at Washington State University, where she graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in environmental science.

She works as a sustainability consultant for McKinstry, in Seattle.

The future groom is the son of Dwight and Linda Frugé, of Issaquah. Matt graduated from Liberty High School in 2001. He also earned a Bachelor of Arts from WSU in 2007 in hospitality business management.

He is employed as an air/sea agent for Holland America, in Seattle.

The future groom is the son of Dr. Stephen Smith, of Missoula, Mont., and Barbra Smith, of Bellevue. He is a graduate of Big Sky High School, in Missoula. He earned a Bachelor of Science in biology at the UW and a graduate degree in wildlife science. He is a graduate student in the UW’s College of Forestry.

She quit her job to volunteer with the San Francisco Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and the Progressive Animal Welfare Society.

The future groom is the son of D. Scott and Ann Fetterman, of York, Pa. He is a 1999 graduate of Central York High School. He earned a Bachelor of Science in applied mathematics in 2003 at Harvard and a Master of Science in computer science in 2003. He works at Facebook as engineering manager of Mobile.

Daryl Lambert and King County Councilmember Kathy Lambert, of Redmond, announce the engagement of their son, Craig Lambert, to Amy Speight, of Mukilteo.

Speight, the daughter of Shannon and Rachel Speight, of Freeland, is a graduate of the Intercollegiate College of Nursing and works as a pediatric oncology nurse at Seattle Children’s.

Craig Lambert is a graduate of Redmond High School and a 2004 graduate of Washington State University. He is a Kappa Sigma alumnus with a degree in construction management. He works for The Boeing Co. in Everett.

The couple plans to wed in March 2012 and make their home in Mukilteo.
