Malicious mischief

  • A resident in the 4200 block of 228th Avenue Southeast reported at 9:06 a.m. Jan. 20 that someone broke a window in their home, causing $200 in damage.
  • At 1:08 p.m. Jan. 20, a resident in the 1600 block of 25th Avenue Northeast reported someone damaged their car to the tune of $500.
  • At 3 a.m. Jan. 21, a resident in the 1400 block of Northeast Hawthorne Street reported a juvenile caused $500 in damage by breaking a window in an apparent burglary attempt.
  • A resident in the 100 block of Mountain Park Boulevard Southwest reported at 11:06 a.m. Jan. 22 that someone caused $200 in damage to their building and vehicle.

Car break-ins

  • At 12:49 p.m. Jan. 9, the owner of a 2002 Ford F350 reported someone broke into the truck and stole a guitar, compound bow, gift cards and cash. The total loss was estimated at $2,700.
  • Before 3 a.m. Jan. 11, someone broke into a car in the 600 block of Front Street South and stole a pack of cigarettes valued at $7.
  • At 8:51 p.m. Jan. 12, a resident in the 6100 block of East Lake Sammamish Parkway Southeast reported someone broke into their car and stole a computer, tote bag and books, with a total value of $420.
  • At 7:34 a.m. Jan. 13, someone broke into a vehicle in the 900 block of Northeast Ingram Street, causing window damage and stealing medical equipment. The total loss was estimated at $1,000.

  • At 2:42 p.m. Jan. 2, a resident in the 100 block of Northeast Creek way reported someone stole a pocketbook containing a wallet and cell phone. The items were valued at $1,150.
  • At 3:36 a.m., someone in the 100 block of East Sunset Way reported someone had stolen between $40 and $80 in tip money.
  • At 1:40 p.m. Jan. 4, someone stole $70 in medication in the 3600 block of 228th Avenue Southeast.
  • At 3:34 p.m. Jan. 5, someone stole a UPS package, valued at $63, in the 100 block of Mount Olympus Drive Southwest.

  • At 5:49 p.m. Nov. 25, someone stole a $50 iPod Touch in the 100 block of West Sunset Way.

At 3:08 p.m. Nov. 17, an employee at the Issaquah Food & Clothing Bank wanted the police to know that one of their customers left their 102-year-old mother in a vehicle, unattended, for several hours in the cold. Read more

Legal troubles

At 1:41 p.m. Nov. 7, an officer responded to a citizen in the 100 block of East Sunset Way who had called 911 regarding issues he was having with his attorney. The officer advised he could request a new attorney and had to go through the court to handle the issue.
