Yvonne Marie Allen, a lifelong resident of Issaquah, died peacefully Sunday, Dec. 15, 2013.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Stuart Allen; mother Arlene Durand; brother Dean Durand; her six children, Corey, Sabrina, Desiree, Brett, Deann and Shawn; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Yvonne enjoyed camping and reading, and was an avid bowler. You could often find Yvonne sitting on her deck, watching hummingbirds. She was a sports enthusiast and could be heard above the crowd.

Dotty was born in Philadelphia on June 11, 1929. She grew up in Philadelphia and spent summers in Cape May, N.J.

She is preceded in death by her son Joseph H. Brewton.

Kathleen (Kitty) Broome passed away Nov. 29, 2013. She was a longtime Issaquah resident.

Kitty was born in Stanley, N.D., on July 13, 1946. She grew up in Spokane, and graduated from Lewis & Clark High School.

She raised four children there — Kerri (Jerry) Malbeck, of Connell, Nikki (Joel) Guthmiller, of Monroe, Bob (Christine) Pratt, of Spokane Valley, and Lisa (Cody) Johnson, of Spokane Valley. She moved to Issaquah in 1982 and was an active member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles.

Donald was born May 19, 1938, the son of David and Mary Lewis. He was raised in Issaquah, and graduated from Issaquah High School in 1956 and Central Washington University in 1960 with a degree in economics.

Gertrude Risdon, a longtime resident of Issaquah, passed away Dec. 12, 2013, one week after her 89th birthday. An incredibly caring and devoted mother, she will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Those who knew her loved her.

She was born Gertrude Christina Anderson on Dec. 5, 1924, the daughter of Signe and Edward Anderson. She had three younger siblings, Edward Jr., Helen and Inez. In her early years, she lived in Ballard. This was during the Great Depression, which left a lasting impression and shadow of her family’s hard times.

Joseph Robert (Joe Bob) Bingham Jr. lost his battle with carcinoid cancer Nov. 22, 2013. He was 66 years old.

He was loved very much by his family, grandchildren and friends who will celebrate his life with stories and memories during a memorial at Pine Lake Community Center at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 21.
