Darrel Schuerman passed away peacefully at Aegis of Issaquah on Aug. 14 at age 93.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife Anna June after nearly 70 years of marriage.

He is survived by his five children, 13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, and was loved by all who knew him.

Marilynne H. Clark, of Issaquah, passed away peacefully at her home on Aug. 22, 2014. She was 74 years old.

Marilynne was born Jan. 24, 1940, in Stamford, Texas, the daughter of Samuel and Marthlyn Spears. She was raised in Villa Park, Illinois, and Livonia, Michigan. She graduated from Bentley High School in Livonia. In 1957, she married Richard Clark. They had two children, Sherilyn and Steven.

Marilynne had a keen eye for design and was always up-to-date on the latest trends and fashion. She enjoyed arts and crafts, reading and gardening. She also knitted blankets for Seattle Children’s Hospital and volunteered at Overlake Hospital.

David George Briggs, of Redmond, died peacefully at home on Saturday, July 26, 2014.

He was 71 years of age and was born July 3, 1943, in North Brookfield, Massachusetts, the son of George and Georgia Briggs. He was raised in New Braintree, Massachusetts, and attended school there.

His undergraduate work was accomplished at the University of Massachusetts followed by a master’s at Yale and a doctorate at the University of Washington.

Colleen Therese Meagher, passed away July 19, surrounded by loved ones.

Born in Long Beach, Calif., in 1958, the former Issaquah resident moved to Bellevue in 1997 when she met her husband Tim Meagher.

She leaves behind her husband of 30 years, Tim; two children, Carrie and Patrick; and an extended family.

Jacqueline Ann (McMahon) Forte left us peacefully on July 24, 2014, in Olympia, at the age of 76.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Ronald; her daughter Virginia Forte, son Lee (Victoria) Forte, daughter Rhonda Forte, son Michael (Colleen) Forte, son Paul (Suzanne) Forte and son Joseph (Stacy) Forte; and her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Jacqueline was born on Oct. 14, 1937, in Clinton, Iowa, to Marcella and Albert McMahon, who passed away in 1984 and 1987, respectively. She moved to Seattle at the age of 11, and attended St. George Grade School and Holy Angels Academy. Jacqueline married her husband Ronald on Feb. 17, 1962. Together, they operated the family equipment rental business for more than 38 years with their children.

Thomas (Tom) Otto Gentsch, 87, passed away in Issaquah on July 21, 2014. He was a loving husband and father, devoted grandfather, favorite uncle, friend, mentor and colleague to countless others.

Tom was born on May 30, 1927 in Merrick, N.Y. and graduated from W.C. Mepham High School in the class of 1945. He served in the Infantry and Medical Corp. of the U.S. Army from 1945-1946. In 1950, he received his B.S. from Yale College, followed by his M.D. from the Yale University School of Medicine in 1953, and completed his internship at Grace New Haven Community Hospital. His residency in Thoracic Cardiovascular and General Surgery was completed at Yale, New Haven Medical Center and he was also an Instructor in Surgery at the Medical School at Yale.

John E. O. Nilsson

John was born in Follinge, Sweden Aug. 24, 1923 to Johan Nilsson and Margareta Andersson. He served in the Swedish Military during WWII.

He immigrated to the United States in 1952 and lived in Long Island, N.Y. John moved to the Pacific Northwest in 1962 to enjoy his passion for the outdoors, which included hiking and fishing in the Cascade mountains, Puget Sound and also Alaska.

John was a homebuilder and was among the first builders in Mirrormont Estates on Tiger Mountain.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Anna-Lisa Nilsson; son John Nilsson and daughter-in-law Lisa Nilsson; daughter Ingrid Kafer and son-in-law Tim Kafer; grandchildren Nicholas Kafer and Karl Kafer; and sisters Karin Bentzen of Arizona and Anna-Lisa Sivertsson of Sweden.
