The Great Inflatable Race comes to town from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 25 at Lake Sammamish State Park.
Known as the “bounciest fun run on Earth,” the Great Inflatable Race takes your standard 5K and litters the course with eight to 10 giant inflatable obstacles that runners must navigate around, over and through.

The Tiger Mountain Family Nudist Park presents the 24th annual Bare Buns Fun Run West, its annual clothing-optional 5K.
Registration is $30 and includes a free T-shirt while supplies last. Spectators’ registration is $16. Photo identification is required for both.
There will be awards to the top-three finishers in all age/gender divisions and a lot of random prizes.
Registration is from 8-10 a.m. On-site parking is limited, so carpooling is recommended.

Race coordinator Douglas Nast certainly knows there is room for growth in Issaquah Christian Church’s annual Run with Faith for the benefit of Compassion House.
In fact, as runners can receive awards in various age categories, he jokes that one year, nearly every runner in the race received a medal of some kind. If you are out to get your name into a record book somewhere, this might be your chance, Nast added.
“Our course records are pretty modest,” he said.

Sign up for the Issaquah Rotary Run with the Fishes, a 5K Fun Run/Walk and Kids Dash for charity.
Kick off Salmon Days with the 5K that begins at 9 a.m., and the Kid’s Dash at 10:30 a.m. Oct. 5.
The race course is flat and winds through Issaquah. Miles are clearly marked and water stations are available along the course. Register online or by mail at Issaquah Rotary Foundation, P.O. Box 553, Issaquah, WA 98027.
Registration is $35 through Oct. 4; event-day registration is $40. Everyone who registers in advance will receive a commemorative Run with the Fishes T-shirt.

The 13th annual Issaquah Triathlon, Duathlon, 10K, 5K and Kids’ Triathlon, sponsored by Arbor Schools, is June 1.
The Sprint Distance Triathlon begins at 7 a.m. The Spring Duathlon runs concurrently with the triathlon. The Issaquah 5K and 10K Run/Walk begins at 7 a.m. The Kids Triathlon begins at 9:30 a.m. and is recommended for children ages 6-12.
Expect traffic delays in and around Lake Sammamish State Park the morning of June 1.
