City prosecutors said they would not file misdemeanor domestic violence charges against former Seattle Seahawk Leroy Hill earlier this month, clearing him completely.
After being arrested in January on allegations of domestic violence, Hill faced felony charges of third-degree assault and unlawful imprisonment. In May, the King County Prosecutor’s Office declined to pursue those charges and turned the case over to Issaquah prosecutors.
“In this case, there are several reasons why felony convictions would likely not be reached by a reasonable and objective fact finder…,” the county’s decline reads.
