Jake Lindahl wins it in OT as Issaquah lacrosse drops Skyline

Jake Lindahl delivered the game winner for Issaquah to give the Eagles a 4-3 defeat over Skyline on April 17.

Issaquah led 2-1 after the first. Following a scoreless second, Skyline knotted the contest at 2-2 when a cutting Charlie Kurtenbach converted a Tyler Johnston pass for the equalizer.

Patriots’ swim title tops year’s best sports stories

It was another successful year for Issaquah community sports.

Athletes at the three district high schools took home conference titles, state championships and, in Liberty’s case, made history in 2014.

Issaquah tops state lacrosse poll

The Issaquah boys lacrosse team sits ahead of the pack in the state’s first rankings of the 2014 season provided by ScoreCzar.

Issaquah comes in at No. 1 in boys Division I, while the Issaquah girls varsity team is ranked third.
