Issaquah High School boys lacrosse coach and program founder Brandon Fortier was among six lacrosse leaders inducted into the Washington State Lacrosse Hall of Fame Oct. 12.
Fortier pioneered lacrosse in the Issaquah and Sammamish areas, parlaying his passion for the game into a career as a respected educator, coach and league leader.
He founded the Issaquah High School boys program in 2001, and it has quickly become one of top programs in the state. Since its inception, the Eagles have had five state championships appearances, and three state titles.
