Eastlake eliminates Issaquah in girls hoops

February 25, 2014

A big first-half deficit proved too much for the Issaquah High School girls basketball team to overcome, and it ended the Eagles’ season Feb. 18.

Issaquah trailed 12-1 after one quarter, 29-10 at halftime, and a 24-point fourth quarter wasn’t enough as the Eagles lost to the Eastlake Wolves, 53-48, in the Class 4A KingCo Conference girls basketball tournament at Juanita High School in Kirkland.
