Jacksons Food Stores join fight against domestic violence

Jacksons Food Stores and the Washington State Coalition Against Domestic Violence present the 11th annual Give the Gift of Peace campaign through Dec. 25 to raise funds for the prevention of domestic violence.

Contributions can be made in increments of $1, $5 or $10. At the end of the campaign, Jacksons Chief Executive Officer John Jackson will match Jacksons Food Stores customer contributions dollar for dollar up to $75,000, with all the proceeds going to the Washington State Coalition Against Domestic Violence.

Jacksons hosts drive against domestic violence

Jacksons Food Stores and the Washington State Coalition Against Domestic Violence present the 10th annual Give the Gift of Peace campaign, a holiday season campaign that helps raise community awareness and legislative efforts to ensure funding priorities for domestic violence victims.

Contributions can be made at Jacksons Food Stores through Dec. 25 in increments of $1, $5 or $10. Issaquah locations are:

Boost school programs by buying milk

Dairy Farmers of Washington, along with Jacksons food stores, will donate 5 percent of one gallon milk sales to help fund Apple Educational Products.

All public elementary schools in Issaquah will be entered into a drawing to receive money toward the purchase of iPad learning centers, which include iPads, apps and etextbooks.

The Milk Builds Strong Schools program runs through May 28 when a winning school will be randomly drawn.
