ArtEAST presents new exhibition of crows/ravens

Issaquah’s most intriguing murder of crows invites you to two art exhibitions and five public lectures celebrating all things corvid.

ArtEAST presents the “Crow/Raven: Magic and Mystery” opening reception from 6-8 p.m. May 30 at the artEAST Art Center, 95 Front St. N., and from 4-6 p.m. June 8 at Blakley Hall, 2550 N.E. Park Drive.

The art exhibits run through July 12.

ArtEAST hosts open call for art in new exhibit

ArtEAST has put out an open call for art in its new exhibit “Crow/Raven: Magic & Mystery.”

Wanted are 2-D and 3-D works pertaining to the theme, with crows and ravens being a source of artistic inspiration, scientific inquiry and fascination.

Accepted artwork is eligible for a $250 curator’s choice award. The show will be curated by Greg Bartol.
