Musicians enjoy intimate setting of Open Mic Night
Issaquah Open Mic is a terrific venue! I have been part of the “administrative team” for a couple of years, and the dedication and perseverance of the founding members is awesome — and very much appreciated.
Rick Young on the sound set does a superb job, and Lee Haro assists and supports the event. We have people of all ages and musical ability perform — and some of them have gone on to perform at other places and get to be well known.
A fabulous venue — and I personally thank the Train Depot Museum personnel for allowing us to enjoy an evening of music fellowship!

Someone has to make music and it might as well be the whole community.
For the second year in a row, the Downtown Issaquah Association will lead the city to join the rest of the world in International Music Day on June 21. With festivities highlighting the talents of the community, the day will offer plenty of opportunities to listen to and make music.
“It’s going to be pretty significant,” DIA Executive Director Karen Donovan said. “We’re going to have over 25 bands in seven outdoor locations, four regular venues and six nontraditional spots.”
