Food bank hosts charity breakfast

The Issaquah Food & Clothing Bank presents the Recipe for Hope breakfast from 7:30-8:30 a.m. Sept. 23 at Eastridge Church, 24025 S.E. Issaquah-Fall City Road.

Doors open at 7 a.m.

The suggested minimum individual donation is $100, with proceeds going to benefit the Issaquah Food & Clothing Bank.

Fundraiser tops $75,000 for food, clothing bank

The Issaquah Food & Clothing Bank’s second annual Recipe for Hope Breakfast Sept. 9 raised more than $75,000.

Food bank officials plan to put the donations to good use by growing programs, improving the facility, increasing outreach, ensuring there are no hungry kids in local schools nor hungry seniors alone at home, and leaving no one without a safety net, Executive Director Cori Walters wrote in an email to supporters.

Recipe for Hope cooks up community support

Issaquah Food & Clothing Bank raised more than $75,000 in its Recipe for Hope fundraiser Oct. 17.

James Whitfield, CEO of Leadership Eastside, was the keynote speaker, while State Sen. Mark Mullet emceed the event at Eastridge Church.

Issaquah Food & Clothing Bank to host benefit breakfast

The Issaquah Food & Clothing Bank will host an Oct. 17 benefit breakfast at Eastridge Church, 24205 S.E. Fall City Road.

Register now to help fill the shelves at the food bank that serves an average of 4,934 people per month.

The Recipe for Hope Breakfast begins at 7 a.m. James Whitfield, CEO of Leadership Eastside, will be the keynote speaker, while state Sen. Mark Mullet will emcee the event.
