Outstanding recyclers needed for Recycling Superstar contest

King County needs a hero — a Recycling Superstar, to be exact.
Starting Monday, the county Solid Waste Division asks residents to submit stories about how well they recycling as part of the inaugural Recycling Superstar contest.
Click here to enter a description of stellar recycling habits for a chance to win one of prizes, including Seattle Sounders FC tickets, a Victoria Clipper trip, a getaway to Friday Harbor or a night at the Roosevelt Hotel in Seattle. The top five entrants will win prizes.
Entrants can submit video or photos alongside the description. Entries must be received by Sept. 14. The contest is open only to King County residents outside of Seattle.
