The Washington State Auditor’s Office recently performed an accountability audit and examination of the Issaquah School District’s financial statements and federal requirements for the period of Sept. 1, 2012, through Aug. 31, 2013.
In the areas the state examined for its accountability audit, it found Issaquah’s internal controls were adequate to safeguard public assets and that the school district complied with state laws and regulations and its own policies and procedures.

The Sammamish Plateau Water and Sewer District received a pair of clean audits from the Washington State Auditor’s Office.
One report was dated April 24 and covered financial issues during calendar year 2012.
The auditor’s office held the district up to general auditing standards for government agencies and found no problems with the district.

State Auditor Troy Kelley released Issaquah’s annual audit Sept. 27 and the city came away from the scrutiny cleanly.
The Washington State Auditor’s Office reported no significant deficiencies or material weaknesses in the financial statements or the federal awards.
